Purse – NO MORE!

January 7, 2009 · 1 Comment

Ok, that little “life changing” experiment was not a success. There are those who will tell me the purse was not “cute” enough, but the whole thing was a hassle. It wasn’t wheter or not it looked good. It was a question of functionality combined with ease of use. Digging around in the bottom to find the item I needed just produced a ton of frustration not efficiency.

Ah, but thanks to my dear son, I am now entering the small back pack stage. Actually I found the one I wanted at the store on December 23, and since he was still trying to figure out what to get me…I was able to send him to the correct isle at Lewis. And what a bonus; it was on clearance for $10. Everybody won on that one.

Little pockets are much better for finding things as well as having big compartments for my bible and stuff. Besides if we move into the adoption stage, then I’ll already be carrying a diaper bag.

Give it three months and we’ll see how it works out.

Oh yes, I’m with ya’. I just had a “bag” handmade for me. It’s so cute and very trendy BUT it’s like searching through a junk drawer. You do have a junk drawer at your house right!

It has pockets and that’s good but there’s the bottom that everything sinks too. I’m with you, give me compartments!
